With the Primary Planning Tool, you will have access to a bank of materials titled “Standard Resources” which we have uploaded to the system.

However, we know that each school will have their own set of resources specific to the various class levels. Therefore, you have the option of creating a list of your own materials titled “My Resources”. You will be able to assign each of these to specific subjects and they will then be available within the system for reuse by all staff once saved.

Resources

This section outlines the items you have used to support the teaching of curriculum content. For certain subjects, this includes key readings or music resources that have been agreed upon on a whole-school basis. The Primary Planning Tool supports the use of non-curriculum content. This is achieved through the pre-population of standard and personal resources in alignment with NCAA curriculum planning. Both principals and teachers have the ability to add materials which may be specific to the school or even a particular class. Principals can add a new resource through the admin section. You will also be able to delete or edit them throughout the year if they change or become unavailable.

Teachers also have the capability to add their own materials during the creation of your plans. To do this simply go to the additional content section of the planning window and find the appropriate section to add school specific or class specific materials.
